This privacy policy describes how the ABCast application ("the App"), published by AlexBZicker ("we"), handles information when you use the App on iOS.

1. What data is processed

To work, ABCast stores locally, on your device only:

• The sources you add (M3U playlist URL/file, or Xtream Codes account credentials);
• Your favorites (channels, movies, series);
• Your playback progress (resume playback for movies and episodes);
• Your app preferences (language, display settings).

This information is stored in the app's local storage (SwiftData) and is never transmitted to our servers, because ABCast does not use any server — we don't own one.

2. Network communication

When you add a source, the App connects directly, from your device, to the IPTV server you provided (your M3U playlist provider or your Xtream Codes account) to retrieve the list of channels, movies, series, the program guide (EPG), and the corresponding video streams. This connection happens solely between your device and your provider's server; we have no access to and do not intercept this traffic.

3. No data sale or sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. ABCast contains no ads and no third-party ad-tracking SDKs.

4. Analytics and third-party tools

ABCast does not integrate any behavioral analytics tool, advertising SDK, or third-party tracker. No usage data is sent to external analytics services.

5. Content and responsibility

ABCast does not provide, host, or reference any channel, movie, series, subscription or access. The App is a simple media player: you must have your own IPTV source, legally obtained from a service you are subscribed to. You are solely responsible for the streams you add, their legality, and their content.

6. Data retention and deletion

All data mentioned above stays stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing your sources in the App or by uninstalling ABCast, which permanently erases all associated local data.

7. Children's privacy

ABCast is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect any data from minors. Accessible content depends exclusively on the IPTV sources configured by the user.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated occasionally, for example when new features are added. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed accordingly.
